They then record the<br \/>\nchanges in pressure as the temperature increases and<br \/>\nplot the results to prove Gay-Lussac\u2019s law<\/li>\n<li>The experiment can also work in reverse; students heat the<br \/>\nvessel, open the valve to normalize the air in the vessel,<br \/>\nthen shut the valve.
